“Football for All in Vietnam” Project (FFAV) – Football Association of Norway
FFAV is an initiative developed between the Football Association of Norway (NFF) and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). FFAV started its operation in Hanoi in 2001, and in 2003, the project was officially moved to Thua Thien Hue province. FFAV works to develop children’s non-competitive grassroots football in primary and secondary schools with a special focus on marginalized group such as people with a disability, people with ethnic minority background, and people with HIV/AIDS infected/affected. FFAV uses football activities as a tool to integrate fundamental life skill activities which are defined based on the real situation and need of the club.

I. MAIN CONTENT OF THE POSITION
The position will to a large extent work internally as a coordinator for the FFAV Cup, securing all aspects of organizing one of the biggest football events in South East Asia. In addition, the position will be responsible in selling and coordinating all the events/ services that FFAV can deliver.

II. PRINCIPLES GUIDING THE POSITION
As an employee of FFAV, the position adheres to the FFAV’s Terms of Employment, Code of Conduct including the FFAV Anti-Corruption Policy, FFAV Child Protection Guidelines and all relevant government laws and regulations of Vietnam.
The position has to behave according to NFF and FFAV’s values, principles, rights-based and participatory approach and gender sensitivity.
Central documents for the work in Vietnam are FFAV’s Project Document, time plan, approved project proposals, work plans and budgets, partners and donors agreements.

III. KEY TASKS
1. Coordinate the yearly FFAV Cup organization
The sales of events will be a supplementary to the Cup coordination
2. Sell and coordinate events and services that FFAV can deliver:
Consulting on organizational structure needed for events
Training of HR in such organizations
M&E systems for such organizations
Financial control and budgeting systems
Team Building programs
Life Skill games and competitions
In-house training on methodology and participatory approaches
Communication advice and service
Media training
Support to get needed permits
Graphic design
Textiles or other profile materials
Any printed material, including banners etc.
Catering
Logistics; transportation, venues, storage etc.
Documentation of activity; news stories, photos, film etc.
When FFAV organize big football events themselves, a specific project will be established in each case. The position will be included in the project group, and report to Head of Technical or Operational Department, depending on where main responsibility for event is placed.

IV. CRITERIA:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of English/PR/communication/marketing degree
Excellent computer skills (World Office package)
Excellent in English and Vietnamese, both spoken and written
Creative!
Ability to work independently
Experience in event management/PR/marketing,
Experience in working in the community development sector is an advantage
Preferably experienced with “Prezi” presentations
Confident communication and presentation skills
Good organizational and time-management skills
Teamwork skills
Stress management skills
Flexibility and the ability to do multi-tasking
Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
Skills in working with external partners and with conflict resolutions
Willing to learn and take new things
Willing to travel
Knowledge about Vietnamese history, culture and socio- economic situation
